I’ve had the opportunity to do editorial, makeup & beauty, and glamour modelling alongside several professional photographers, MUA’s, creatives, and creative directors in Townsville, North Queensland. This started with an editorial-style shoot in 2017. I participated in a group photoshoot, led and shot by Olive Mctaggart and Allie Grigg as MUA. I went on to do a glamour shoot with Olive solo in the same year. Then in 2018, I modelled for a photographer, Matthew Gianolous, who photographed me for the Percivals 2018 Competition held at one of Townsville’s Art Galleries. After this was an editorial-styled shoot that I’ve included in my profile. This was denim themed with creative face art by Georgia O’Gorman and shot by Zoe Seitis. After this shoot followed another 2 photoshoots; one editorial and the other a makeup & beauty/ glamour blend, in Townsville. A session would look like: Improvising poses for photos, unless given specific ideas Working together with the photographer, director and any others to help bring their ideas to fruition. Example: receiving and responding to guidance from the shoot director on the mood, poses, creation of certain looks, suitable seated and standing positioning There were several levels of improvisation on my end, which would depend on the direction the photographer or director wanted to lead in, and on my experience. I would respond with trust to their ideas and concepts and they would trust me. I would also have to trust myself even with little experience. I’ve mostly done solo photo shoots and print-style modelling. I’m open to doing group photos and other forms of modelling. I believe I have the ability to bring to life the mood of the photographer’s and/ or director’s concepts.
